Special cell to be establish to take strict action against those people who sends foreign in unauthorized manner: Hry CM


Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal said that the State Government would establish a special cell which would take strict action against those indulged in sending people to foreign countries in unauthorized manner.

Apart from this, FIRs have been registered against 21 such persons in the state who were indulged in sending people to foreign countries in this manner.

Manohar Lal gave this information during his meeting with Union External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. The Union Minister said that some agents send people abroad without visa and documents, and after reaching there, they have to face many difficulties.

Manohar Lal said that such agents would be identified and strict action would be taken against them.

The Chief Minister also sought assistance from the External Affairs Ministry for pilgrimage of people of the state to Shri Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, Pakistan. On the request of the Chief Minister, Sushma Swaraj assured him that all possible help would be provided in this regard.

The Chief Minister thanked the Union Minister and said that prior to this, the Haryana Government had also facilitated the people of the state in pilgrimage to Darbar Sahib in Patna.

The Union Minister said that the Ministry of External Affairs has set up a cell under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary related to investment in states. On this, the Chief Minister said that through this cell, all possibilities would be explored of promoting investment opportunities in Haryana.

Apart from this, through this cell, other countries could be contacted for investment. He said that Haryana would extend full support to the Ministry of External Affairs to promote economic diplomacy.

Union Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also met Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal in Varanasi and discussed various issues. They also held discussions on sports and facilities being provided to sportspersons in the state and across the country.

After this, the Chief Minister met with prominent NRI industrialists. During interaction with US industrialist Priya Tandon, she informed that her company would provide better facilities by using machines based on modern technology in association with Kalpana Chawla Medical University, being set up in Karnal and would make such arrangements that any patient or his family need not stand in a queue.

The Chief Minister said arrangement of ambulances equipped with ultra modern facilities should be made available near airports adjoining Haryana to provide immediate health care facilities to patients coming from other states.

During meeting with the Chief Minister, Managing Director, Tyagi Helms International Interiors, Kuwait, Rajpal Tyagi and his wife informed that daily needs right from food to clothing required in Kuwait is imported from other countries. Many Kuwaiti investors are exploring the possibilities of investment in Haryana. 

Those present on the occasion included Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Devender Singh, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, V. Umashankar, ADC to Chief Minister, Alok Verma, Managing Director, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC), Dr Narhari Singh Banger, Chairman, Foreign Investment Haryana, Gaurav Agarwal, General Manager, HSIIDC, Mahavir Singh and other senior officers of the State Government.
