Chandigarh: NCC Directorate, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh has signed a MoU with Art of Living Foundation during the visit of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder of Art of Living at Panchkula to organise Anti-Drug abuse, personality development & character building course for the NCC Cadets of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh.
These two days courses are planned to be conducted for NCC cadets during their Annual Training Camps held throughout the year. This is a Special Training organised for the first time for NCC Cadets.
Maj Gen RS Mann, VSM, Additional Director General, Brig Roveen, Deputy Director General & Col HPS Bhati and NCC Cadets & staff of NCC Directorate were present during the ceremony.
Maj Gen RS Mann said that this MoU is a step towards the very noble cause of anti-drug abuse campaign in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and HP.
In addition a personality development capsule for the young men & women of the NCC will be included in the programme. This will encourage other organisations to contribute towards the development of our future generations in a constructive manner.
