Haryana Police has arrested three persons for allegedly possessing 37 gram heroin from two different locations in district Sirsa.
While stating this today, a spokesman of Police Department said that the accused have been identified as Lakhbir Singh alias Bohar Singh of Bhatinda, Punjab presently residing at Mandi Dabwali, Gora Singh of Gadrana in Kalanwali and Ranjit Singh alias Ranjeeta, a resident of Balasar.
While Lakhbir Singh and Gora Singh were apprehended with 30 gram heroin during checking from near Bus Stand, Dabwali, another accused Ranjit Singh was arrested with 7 gram heroin from village Balasar in the district.
The spokesman said that after enquiring about the name of supplier, a case under NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
All accused would be taken on remand by producing them in the Court. Stern action would be taken after identifying the other persons involved in the racket of heroin smuggling and efforts were being made to nab them, he added.
