Flights to Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru will start from Darbhanga Airport in Bihar from November 8. Airline company SpiceJet will start flying on these routes. Ticket booking has started. These routes were allocated to airlines as part of the government's regional connectivity scheme 'Udaan'.
SpiceJet said that one-way invitation fare on all routes will start from Rs 3,799 which will include all taxes and fees. Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be operated on these routes. Darbhanga is the fifth largest city in Bihar and the center of the Mithlanchal region. Starting the flight from here will also benefit the people of Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Samastipur, Sitamarhi, Champaran, Saharsa and Purnia districts who have to travel to Patna for air travel.
