Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone for 9 highway projects in Bihar through video conferencing. Prime Minister also inaugurated the 'Ghar Tak Fibre' Project under which all 45,945 villages of Bihar will be connected through optical fiber internet service. Nine highway projects include making six-lane highways, and three bridges on rivers. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Union Ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Raj Kumar Singh also participated in the meeting through video conferencing.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said - the country is moving forward with the goal of reaching connectivity to every village in the country. When fast internet will reach every village, it will be easy to study in the village. The children of the village, youth will also be able to access the world's books, technology easily at a click.
